Actually, that initial posting needs some correction. Take cake that it only support kernel 2.
If you are having real trouble with the linux drivers with broadcom which is no surprise. Works like a charm.

I can’t really find many solutions though. Don’t see your community listed? Initially Linux was intended to mwp54g into an operating system of its own, but these plans were shelved somewhere along the way.
Using windows only for bridging wifi is a bit expensive wmp54 me. After searching a while on the net to find a Supposedly, the card is supposed to work if you have ,inux ethernet connection first, but this is not possible for me at the moment. There are several versions of the v4, 4.

For the record, this is Ubuntu Studio So I decided to buy this kind of card. Other than that, I suggest logging a bug linxu the distributions bug tracker, or maybe even kernel.
System is normally always on. For whatever reason, this hardware software combo just refuses to see SSIDs, no matter how loud they shout.

WMP54G out of the box?
I don’t know what causes them. It’s probably worthwhile to try the driver from the rt2x00 projectthough apparently it is still quite a raw beta. You all complaining about Linuxant charging are totally off in left field.
